Hi, I’m Lucille.
Schedule a ConsultSpending most of my life growing up in New York, I bring a culturally diverse lense into sessions and have an appreciation and understanding for how our environment can impact us all in different ways.
Drawing from my own experience with perfectionism, I know what it's like to have high expectations of yourself and fear failure. I understand how this can affect your view of self, heighten your anxiety and impact those closest to you. With the right support, I was able to move beyond focusing on my perceived flaws, and I learned to accept myself unconditionally. My growth has taught me that inner healing is possible for everyone, and with guidance in understanding what has shaped us, we can meet ourselves with greater compassion.
I would be honored to walk with you in this journey to build your self-worth, help you feel confident and guide you toward better connection in your relationships.
We are likely a good fit if:
- You struggle with perfectionism, negative self-talk and never feel “enough."
- You have people pleasing behaviors and want to learn how to set boundaries.
- You sometimes struggle with depression, anxiety or panic attacks.
- You want to improve your self-confidence.
- You want to learn how to navigate and improve your relationships.
- You feel like you don’t know yourself yet but want to work toward finding out.
If any of these sound like you, we might be a good fit.
Let’s be real, sitting with emotions can be challenging. Especially if we don't know where to start. Sometimes we need support and somewhere to go without judgement. A safe place to find a new way that works for us to move forward. My hope is to help you navigate your life in a way that lets you understand and break the patterns that are no longer serving you.
With a safe space to navigate past experiences, we will work together to process the way in which you came to be who you are. Once you have a better understanding of yourself, you have will have the ability to change. You can improve yourself and tailor your needs to what you actually want, not what others might be influencing you toward, but what you truly feel is best for you.
This is what we will build together in sessions.
My main goal is to support you. Here is what you can expect in sessions with me:
Intention
Together we will develop goals based on what you want to improve on or get support with. We will discuss how I can help you to progress toward the goals you set. Going forward, our sessions will be intentional in surrounding the things you want to work on. I will regularly check back in so we can make sure that you are moving forward in the way you want to be.
Guidance
I will provide my perception, understanding and empathy on your thoughts and emotions and help you figure out what they mean so you can start repairing, growing, and benefiting from them. My approach in sessions will be to meet you where you are at with compassion while also challenging you when I notice you fall into a pattern that you want to change. I may be direct or even use humor at times, but the conversations we have and the questions I ask will have the purpose of helping you gain further insight and will guide you to informed decision-making.
Honesty
You don’t have to (and shouldn’t) filter yourself in session. If there isn’t honesty, there won’t be progress, so say what’s on your mind. Our conversations will be a collaborative effort and sometimes I might voice something I notice that comes up so we can deepen and work through it. This will help us identify the patterns you’d like to improve, so we can better understand them and the reasons behind them.
Growth
I trust you to tell me if there is something that isn’t working for you so that we can try something else. I may also ask about this if I sense that we are stuck. When we collaborate in session with the best method to help you progress, it will lead to the growth that you are wanting.

Approach
My approach is attachment-based, I draw from:
- Attachment theory, to discover where your thoughts and behaviors came from and how to improve these to better manage your emotions and establish trust in yourself.
- Emotionally focused therapy, to help you identify the patterns in your relationship and yourself and lead you to express emotions with vulnerability, creating trust, emotional safety and a secure connection.
- Somatic awareness and visualization practices, to explore past attachment injuries, reconnect with your inner child and regulate your nervous system.
- Psychotherapy, to help you understand how your thoughts, feelings and behaviors are connected and guide you to reframe internal thoughts into healthier patterns.
I utilize a combination of these modalities while working together, we will set goals to figure out which is best suited for your needs.
Sometimes we need someone to hear us.
Therapy can be helpful no matter where you are in your life. You don’t have to have a major event bringing you in.
