You feel like you are in a negative cycle in your relationship and need help understanding it and getting out of it. You want to communicate in a healthier way so that you and your partner both feel understood and can progress into improving your connection.

Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT) can help you:

How I support couples:

I work with both partners to better understand what might be blocking them from expressing themselves in a healthy way. As we work together to identify the patterns in your relationship, we will become aware of when these patterns come up most and why they might be preventing you from reaching out to your partner.

We will work together to improve your communication while understanding how our emotions impact us, without blame for each other. As we unpack these emotions, there may be past events that we start to connect with our current emotions and that help guide us into regulating these emotions with our partners support.

As we work together, you will start to build confidence with expressing your emotions to your partner and lead toward the connection that you both want.


If you are dating, you have trouble identifying or expressing your needs. You want guidance to understand yourself and what a healthy relationship looks like to you in your own way, not the way you have been told you should want.

How I can support you with dating:

I will work with you to understand your dating experience and how this might be impacting you currently. We will unpack what a healthy relationship looks like to you and together we will learn what issues might come up for you around dating.

We will identify and work through any blocks that prevent you from leaning into a relationship in a healthy way. You will become more clear in what you want and understand how to express this in a way that helps you grow.

Through our work together, you will have more confidence in understanding what you are really looking for in a relationship and how to find it.
